Why MathTypeX?
Writing mathematics on a computer should be easy. Writing Arabic mathematics should not be a hard exception. We built MathTypeX as a visual editor that runs in the browser, treats English and Arabic with equal seriousness, and supports what printed Arabic mathematics needs: right-to-left writing, mathematical letters, derivative marks and exact control over positions.
Privacy
The editor and the image export run inside your browser. Your formulas are not sent to a server, and the site needs no sign-up.
Credits
The shapes of the Arabic math letters come from the symbol tables of the Zulfi Math Arabic keyboard maps. Equations are drawn with the bundled STIX Two Math, Liberation Sans and Noto Arabic faces.
An independent project
MathTypeX is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a product of any other equation-editor company, and it shares no code with one.
Project and contact
The project lives on GitHub; open an issue there to ask for a feature or report a problem.
